Hi James, I lost my father to diabetic, my eldest brother is a borderline case diabetic, now my cousin brother is also suffering from it. I also know that diabetic is hereditary, so that makes me a potential diabetic. I guess you are right with your advice. Exercise is one of the the most important key to a better health generally and in particular to lower the risk of diabetic. Drinking a lot of water will help as well. Perhaps you are in the best capacity to share with others on the mis-information around diabetic. Cheers and have a great day.

I am a diabetic, and am on medication everyday. I have a glucose meter that I use regularly to monitor my sugar level and go for medical check-up every three month. I eat sensibly but do not deprive myself of some sugary favourite once in a while. I drink a lot of water everyday and above all EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE! Mine is a thrice weekly walk lasting at least an hour in a nature park. I think that is good enough. I'm a borderline case diabetic.
