This is going to be long video but one that will really worth your time to see! It’s an hour 16 minutes, so you may wish to grab yourself a cup of coffee, switch off your handphone, get yourself cosy to be inspired by this fantastic person, Randy Pausch.

On September 18 2007, Randy Pausch, a computer science professor from Carnegie Mellon University, went on stage to standing ovation to deliver his lecture on “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”.

With slides of the CT Scan of his pancreatic cancer, which was about to take his life in a matter of a few month, Randy Pausch delivered this lecture which is known famously as “The Last Lecture”.  On the stage that day, Randy was youthful, energetic, handsome, often cheerfully, darkly funny. He seemed invincible. But this was a brief moment, as he himself acknowledged.

Brick Walls Are There For a Reason;

They let Us Prove How Badly We Want Things

Among all quotes this was one that inspired us.  Wow, that was a hard knock on the head!  Worst than knocking your head onto that brick wall.  Think for a moment, does that not inspire you to persevere? Obstacles are bound to be there in life.  How badly we wish to achieve our goals will determine how we strive to find ways and means to cross that brick wall.

Randy’s lecture has become a phenomenon, as has the book he wrote based on the same principles, celebrating the dreams we all strive to make realities. Sadly, Randy lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on July 25th, 2008, but his legacy will continue to inspire us all, for generations to come.

This is the second installation of a series of inspiration videos from the Video eBook. I am a firm believer that video has a lasting impression in our minds and greatly influenced our lives.

STAY HUNGRY, STAY FOOLISH was the closing wise words Jobs delivered at the now legendary Stanford University commencement address in 2005.  This phrase was the farewell message on the final issue of  The Whole Earth Catalog. That must have impact his life and he wished the same for the 2005 graduates of Stanford University, the message was to be deductive and applied as they left to pursue their dreams.

Happy and a blessed New Year 2009

This powerful video is my way of introducing you to the world of video eBook.  The credit must go to The Secret which has taken the world by storm since the concept came out just a few years ago.  The Genie in the following image is all too familiar to those of us who have come across their websites and trailer.

I was introduced to this excellent communication media lately.  If a picture speaks a thousand words, what would you think a video will do for us?  I know for sure that I have profoundly been influenced by a great number of movies and videos.  I hope to introduce this media and endeavor to provide reviews of video eBooks as well.

This is part 1 of 7 parts of a Video eBook promoted by one website.  I was given the privilege to take a look and write a review of it.  I know this is going to a powerful form of communication.
