Living Safely With High Blood Sugar

Posted by admin On December - 15 - 20082 COMMENTS

If you know of some one who has High Blood Sugar, you OUGHT to read this review. Better still, ask him to read it!

I have been working in Life Insurance Industries for many years.  As a life insurance agent with Prudential Malaysia, I have seen thousands of prospects and suspects.  One of the most dreaded moment for me is to discover that my prospects are diagnosed with high blood sugar when they are asked a set of questions pertaining to their health history.  It would be almost next to impossible for one with such condition to have his application for life insurance to be approved by the Company.

While I do not feel regret or disappointed for not able to secure the deal, I am more concern on how do I help a friend to deal with such a situation.

Insurance Industries are all about risk management, reducing their exposure to the barest minimum.  One can understand that high blood sugar will tend to lead to the dreaded illness diabetes.  From the perspective of the actuaries, this is the prelude to such diseases as high blood pressure, kidney failure, hypertension, stroke, cardiovascular diseases and such.

My father passed away almost 20 years ago of complication due to years of being diabetic.  He was diagnosed of kidney failure in his early 60s and died shortly later of myocardial infarction.  I was there helping him with peritoneal dialysis since he was of age.  I wish I have given him more of my time then and I wish I have enough information of hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) to be able to help him BEFORE all the complication!

My concern is how do I help a friend to deal with such situation without me giving “old-wives-tales” remedies.  What he or she needs is exactly what to do with his/her condition.  Here is this book – Living Safely With High Blood Sugar – written by Tom Moore.

Tom’s brother was diagnosed with hyperglycemia, which is the scientific term for High Blood Sugar.  He knows fully well that he is susceptible to this condition as well.  So Tom started to find out as much as he could know about hyperglycemia, the associated risks and how the condition was detected and treated. His primary focus was to get the best information for his own use, but in the process was also to help his brother and, especially his brother’s family so they could give him the best support possible.  His brother enjoys the direct benefit of his research and lives a fulfilled life even with his hyperglycemia condition.  Out of this effort is the compilation of this highly informative eBook – Living Safely With High Blood Sugar – indirectly benefit thousands who will read this fantastic eBook.
